spending hours in the studio and getting nothing done

and ESOTSM is great except there is one bit that makes no sense! when he goes to the beach house with her in his "dream" she says something along the lines of "you shouldnt have left" but if he did leave then they wldnt b 2gether and there wldnt b all the memories???????? help i dont get it now!!
