         ...it has happened again.

         ...yes, again.

what can I say?  it's just that time of year.

... ...my phone is broken.  I dropped
it on the road on the way to lunch between ballet and modern and the
screen is completely smashed and all the information stored in my phone
is un-view-able.  Please laugh at me now.  So *once again*
I'm going to need everyone's phone number, and you're all going to have
to be patient in hearing from me.  This comes at a particularly
bad time since I am in Houston with no way of getting home at the
moment, and I am leaving the country at the end of this month.  It's
true.  Just a reminder that you only have until the 30th to catch
me in the country, and since I no longer have a cell phone... i am
sorry that i always make these things so difficult.  do not feel
unloved.  ...i wanted to cry when i realized i was suddenly
    without that precious tool.

    i love you all.

(regarding Houston... there are too many good things to say... words would taint them)

  • Raine,

I'm sorry about your phone babe, that's a huge bummer.  But Deanne will get you a new one real quick, and in the mean time, here's all my info: 971.218.0121 steph's cell/studio phone, 503.999.1572 Saul's cell, 503.606.2891 home.  I'm so glad it's wonderful there.  Maybe you'll have time for a cup of tea or something on your way back through town.  I'm in contact with Jen Gable, so when you come pick up your car, then she and I'll probably schedule a time to come up there- once we know you're on your way there.

    Love you!

  • Erin, that dancer is so you!  I remember sharing that passion with you during sound checks while listening to STING.  I have been thinking of you and hope you are doing great.  love you lots.  alissa

  • congratulations on finishing at western...i remember when speaking of it we thought the day would never come.  You've made it.  On to the next one!

  • I can SO relate about the broken phone. I dropped mine from my shirt pocket while focusing a light 45 feet about the wooden stage at my college theatre. Yeah, I watched it fall and break into smithereens. Fortunately, I married a cell phone technician and sales consultant carrying a fat discount. That didn't stop me from dropping my next phone in the toilet though. Sigh.

Our numbers are: Corey, 812-987-1598; Kristen, 812-786-8000 and home is 225-296-0769. Call us whenever your back online we love you, Erin, and hope you're really enjoying your time in houston. How exciting!

  • Hehe, still have my texas number. 903 521 8698

  • girl...you need one of those body gloves on your phone...it saved me! :)

  • Raine,

You're getting on a bus today I think, and you're gonna meet your Mama tomorrow.  She's gonna ask you if you just wanna go home, or go back a retrieve your car.  Keep this in mind- I can't come up to see you this weekend- Ian's moving to Silverton and he needs all of us to help.  And I thought there was another weekend between this coming one and my vacation, but I was wrong, so a visit to Yakima isn't going to work afterall.  I'm sorry babe, you don't know how sorry, but I'm at peace about your trip.  I hope you get a new phone soon, and you can tell me all about Texas, even if it's only via- satellite, instead in person.

  • love*

  • Helloooooo? Cell phone gone, but have you no internet access? Where's my raine? PC!!!

  • Your still here right?

  • hey there. i got your message, except something happened and it's not on my machine anymore so i don't have the numba. so you have to call again, or e-mail me your #.

what's so crazy is that i wanted to call you sunday night. this couple who are members of our church live and work in morrocco. she's a chaplain at a university there. she speaks arabic among her many languages, so she did the call to worship in arabic. it was so beautiful. and i wanted to talk to you about some of the things she said. she talked about covert christians in morrocco and the harm this does to her work. the morroccan people are now so afraid of u.s. christians and their proselytizing. many articles are being published in marakesh about covert christians, their proselytizing methods, ties to g.w., etc.

ok, i do want to talk to you. call again, or e-mail.
